For all of you wondering how extensions grow out, here’s a good example. Extensions are installed pretty close to the scalp and slowly grow as your natural hair grows. They will also loosen up over time as you style and brush. Move-ups are recommended every 6-8 weeks depending on scalp health, density, and overall hair condition.

4.5 hour transformation Monday! This client had decided to get rid of the tarnished brassy brown and do a full send on going gray. Applying all a full head of foil and hand picking out sections of hair took me 2 hours. This allowed for optimum blending with zero grow out from her natural hair. The result = outstanding

I have a client who initially got extensions because her hair was terribly broken, uneven, and short from over bleaching. She rocked those extensions with perfect home care for about eight months. After consulting about her goals, we decided to remove her extensions and do a full color. She has incredible density, improved breakage, and ALL her little baby hairs are longer. Ladies….hair extensions are a luxury service. Every head is different and every extension is custom colored and suited for you individually. Today my sweet daughter @danikalynn127 was in my chair. Her extensions had tarnished with time and she was due for a full color/move up. Trust the process ladies! Those root melts can look awfully dark while processing. Most will get a bit dark as they oxidize which is normal.
